Ever since Henry Ford pioneered the implementation of conveyor systems to optimize efficiency and reduce costs in his automobile factories, these systems have become an indispensable cornerstone for mass production, product distribution and material handling in various industries.
Looking at the US, which is one of the “hottest” markets right now, the conveyor systems market was valued at 5.81 billion USD in 2023 and is expected to grow to 9.26 billion USD by 2032, with an annual growth rate of 5.5%. The growth is driven by the need to handle large volumes of goods in manufacturing & warehousing operations, where conveyor systems play a central role in material handling.
Conveyor systems enable and ensure continuous transport of products within commercial and industrial facilities. This significantly reduces production time and labor costs. Therefore, manufacturers are focusing on automated material handling to streamline their processes.

An interesting trend that is clearly noticeable, is that more and more companies are moving their production "home". Where previously all or part of the production was outsourced to, for example, China, this is now being built up at home, sometimes under our own management and in some cases with local partners.
